Can Ukraine Expel Russian Troops from Ukraine?
Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman says Russian forces do not have enough combat power to take Kyiv but warns that Putin will resort to aerial bombardments of the city.

So, really the question is, can the Ukrainian military and the Ukrainian population wear down the Russian forces sufficient, quickly to overt humanitarian disaster?
At this rate, it does not look like it. It’s going to be a bloody, bloody campaign.
US can play a constructive role, actually in reducing the humanitarian cost by arming Ukraine.
“If US was to choose to take action sooner rather than later, providing Ukraine with Unmanned combat Arial vehicles and additional air defense, pour in as much equipment as the Ukrainian armed forces need, Ukrainian could very well achieve these effects on their own.
Just Grind down, as they have been doing, the Russian armored formations, Russian’s ability to conduct aerial bombardments, strike targets in Russian bases, across the borders where these planes are flying out of. We can do that and overt the catastrophe.
Otherwise, we are headed for a long protracted conflict, which again the likely hood of spilling over because of the likely hood of human toll is going to be high.
Lesson In World War One
“We have to remember that in world war one we did not go in; we sat out the first three years of war.
The war started in 1914, and we did not enter until 1917.
The second world war started in 1939. We did not enter until the end of 1941 really we did not enter until 1942.
We eventually get dragged into protracted wars in Europe. There is a lesson there.”
The best thing we could do to avoid that, is to get involved.
